Container Lab
The Modular Laboratory System (MLS) is a portable, retrofitted shipping container that functions as a fully equipped field laboratory. The MLS directly addresses infrastructure barriers in remote and underserved communities. It is equipped with sensors for hydrometric and meteorological monitoring, biodiversity observation equipment, and computing tools for data analysis. This infrastructure enables communities to collect data on local environmental trends, which is fed into open-access platforms to address critical data gaps.

In order to preserve these delicate habitats, we aim to identify and quantify seagrass using novel sonar technologies.
